PSA: Sling TV is experiencing streaming issues across multiple platforms

Sling's aware of the issue and working on it as we speak.

If you're a Sling TV subscriber and are having trouble watching your favorite game, reality show, etc., you're not the only one who's experiencing these issues. At 7:33 PM ET last night (April 3), Sling TV's support account on Twitter said that it was aware of "streaming issues" that some users were reporting and that it was working to "resolve the issues as quickly as possible."

Sling issued another update a couple hours later saying that its teams were "still working on the previously identified issue", and this morning at 6:58 AM ET, said the following:

In other words, Sling TV still probably won't work if you try to watch it right now.

As a temporary fix, Sling says you should still be able to access your shows through Google Chrome by going to watch.sling.com. We'll keep an eye on this issue and update this post as we learn more.

Instagram starts showing activity status in direct messages

... In its quest to become the only app where you share photos, moments, and messages, Instagram is adding one new feature to its direct messages: activity status. Just like you'd see when a person was last active on WhatsApp or Telegram or plenty of other messaging services, now you can do the same on Instagram and chide them for not replying with "oohs" and "aahs" to the preettay pic of a sunset that you just posted or the kissy face you messaged directly to them. Android has changed tremendously in the last ten years. Returning to modern hardware after our historical series , I was struck by the visual differences across versions. Samsung Campus: Applications for the Third Session of the Web & Apps Coding Training Course are Now Open

  Students may now apply to join Samsung Campus by filling their application for the third session of the Samsung Campus “Web & Apps Coding” training course. Young people between the ages of 18 and 25, with no high school diploma and passionate about computing, have until midnight on September 18 th to register on www.samsungcampus.fr .
