Chrome for Android now allows users to save offline content on WiFi

Google has just announced that a new version of Chrome is now available on Android devices, which brings an important new feature and some under the hood enhancements. Obviously, the most important is the option to save offline content while you're connected to a WiFi network.

According to Google, Chrome for Android enables users from more than 100 countries, including Brazil, India, Indonesia, and Nigeria, to surf the web even without a constant internet connection. It goes without saying that Samsung is going to spend a lot of money on marketing to get the word out that its new flagship smartphone is the one you should be buying this year. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ at an event in New York City today. Since it was an invite-only event, although it was streamed live online, Samsung decided to spend a lot of money to tell New Yorkers that the Galaxy S8 has arrived. Samsung illuminated the iconic Times Square in New York City with immersive displays reflective of the visual experience that the Galaxy S8′s Infinity Display promises. It basically bought out almost every available signage to announce the arrival of its newest flagship smartphone. As if that wasn’t enough, it even brought in a troupe of performers who danced “in celebration of the debut of the Galaxy S8.” Good stuff.
