Global Variants Of Nokia X6 Pass Bluetooth Certification

It seems like two global variants of the Nokia X6 just got their Bluetooth certification. The Nokia TA-1083 and TA-1116 have been certified, claims NPU (Nokia Power User). The source claims that the Nokia TA-1116 will be released in Russia, amongst other markets, and that both of these phones are actually global variants of the Nokia X6 which was originally announced in China last month.

You can check out the certification listing via the provided image down below, while the original listing link was not provided by NPU, and we were unable to track it down, so take this with a grain of salt, though NPU has a really good track record when it comes to Nokia devices. The Nokia X6's global model(s) got certified by the NCC in Taiwan earlier this month, which suggested that a global model is coming. Nokia's Chief Product Officer (CPO), Juho Sarvikas, actually shared a poll via his official Twitter account last month trying to find out whether consumers outside of China are interested in the Nokia X6, and an overwhelming number of people voted "Yes", over 90 percent, actually, which suggested that a global variant will become a reality at some point. We still do not know when will HMD Global announce the device for global markets, nor when will it go on sale, but one thing is for sure, Russia will be one of the first markets to get the phone based on today's certification.

The Nokia X6 is an affordable, mid-range smartphone, which is made out of metal and glass, and which sports a display notch. The Nokia X6 also comes with really thin bezels, and a thin chin below the display, where the company's branding is imprinted. The Nokia X6 features a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and a dual camera setup above it. The device features a 5.8-inch fullHD+ display, 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of storage, at least its Chinese variant does. The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 636 64-bit octa-core SoC, and it comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. 16 and 5-megapixel cameras are included on the back of the phone, while a single 16-megapixel camera sits on the phone's front side.
