Should you own a device that supports ARCore, which is any of the devices listed here, you can now download and use the Measure app.

This app can be very clutch if you're looking to roughly measure spaces around the house or anywhere else. Did someone say the most handy tool ever for taking a trip to IKEA? Yes, sir. As an example, you can measure the length and height of objects in your home, such as ​ the size of a rug, the width of a cabinet, or the height of a table. It's beautiful.

After taking measurements, you can save them to the device for easy access later, helping you whenever you're out and about at the furniture shop or hardware store.

Samsung spent a lot of money to tell New York that the Galaxy S8 has arrived

It goes without saying that Samsung is going to spend a lot of money on marketing to get the word out that its new flagship smartphone is the one you should be buying this year. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ at an event in New York City today. Since it was an invite-only event, although it was streamed live online, Samsung decided to spend a lot of money to tell New Yorkers that the Galaxy S8 has arrived. Samsung illuminated the iconic Times Square in New York City with immersive displays reflective of the visual experience that the Galaxy S8′s Infinity Display promises. It basically bought out almost every available signage to announce the arrival of its newest flagship smartphone.
