OxygenOS 5.1.8 for OnePlus 6 optimizes call quality

Just a couple of days after dropping the OxygenOS 5.1.7 update, OnePlus has started rolling out another update to OnePlus 6 users. The new update arrives as OxygenOS 5.1.8, and brings along call quality optimizations, system stability fixes, and network stability improvements.

On the face of it, the update may seem minor, but it's actually not. The company had to pull the 5.1.6 update due to issues faced by OnePlus 6 users, especially in India. As promised, this new, 5.1.8 update should contain fixes for those issues.

It's also worth mentioning that for OnePlus 6 users in India, the 5.1.8 build also contains all the features included in the 5.1.7 update (mainly the Do Not Disturb scheduling issue fix), which wasn't officially rolled out in the region.
