Huawei Mate 20 'series' announcement set for October 16 in London

Including its Honor sub-brand, Huawei has not one and not two, but three impressive smartphones powered by that fancy new 7nm-based Kirin 980 processor in the pipeline. And alongside the announcement of four snazzy P20 Pro models, the world's second-largest handset vendor has just unveiled the official launch date of the Mate 20 "Series" at IFA Berlin.

The highly anticipated Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro are scheduled to see daylight in London on October 16, although actual sales will probably kick off a little further down the line.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A20 smartphone last week, and the company is expected to launch its slightly toned down version dubbed Galaxy A20e soon. The A20e was listed on Samsung UK's website earlier this month, and now, its alleged case renders have surfaced revealing its design. These case renders show us that the A20e will look similar to the A20. It has a waterdrop notch display on the front with a dual camera setup located on the back in the left corner.
