Google Pixel 3 XL shown off in new video

We've seen so much of the Google Pixel 3 that there's really not much left to the imagination. But that's not stopping the leaks from pouring in. A video from Russian site Rozetked shows off the Pixel 3 XL in a new hands-on video. While the video doesn't contain much for new information, it does have a few nice shots of the Pixel 3 XL from different angles, as well as a comparison with the Pixel 2 XL.

The video confirms what we already know about the Pixel 3 XL, particularly in regard to the notched display. The reviewer also notes that the screen quality is notably improved, which is impressive considering that the Pixel 2 XL had a very high-quality screen. It was also pointed out that the rear camera on the Pixel 3 XL has a noticeable bulge, which may cause the phone to wobble during use when placed on a flat surface.

Samsung’s Harman acquisition approved by Fair Trade Commission

Samsung Electronics announced late last year that it was going to acquire Harman International for $8 billion . Even though there was some pushback from minority investors initially who thought that the price was too low, Harman’s shareholders eventually approved the acquisition during the shareholders’ meeting earlier this month. The relevant regulatory approvals are now required before Samsung can close this deal once and for all. The company has cleared one such hurdle. South Korea’s Fair Trade Commission has given its final approval to Samsung for the acquisition of Harman International. The decision is similar to the European Commission which also sees no harm in allowing the acquisition to go through. South Korea’s Fair Trade Commission is of the view that this acquisition is not likely to cause a problem with regard to the Fair Trade Act and restriction of competition.
