Samsung has the Sprint version of the 64GB Galaxy S8+ for as low as $8 a month

Surely you've noticed that as we get closer to the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ a month from tomorrow, the price of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ drops. This also applies to the 2017 Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. On Sammy's own website, you can now pick up an Artic Silver 64GB Galaxy S8+ for only $194. This works out to $8.08 a month for 24 months. 

The same phone in Midnight Black is priced at $244, or 24 monthly payments of $10.17. In Orchid Gray, you'll have to pay $544 or $22.67 a month over 24 months. So this begs the question, ...

AT&T rolls out improved prepaid plans

AT&T today rolled out some changes to its prepaid plans , and they're all for the better. First up, AT&T has ditched its 6GB plan and replaced it with an 8GB plan. The regular price of the 8GB plan is a bit more than the 6GB plan — $50 vs $45 — but if you enroll in autopay, the 8GB plan will cost you the same $40 per month as the 6GB plan. This plan includes 8GB of high-speed data, unlimited talk and text to Mexico and Canada, and the ability to use your talk, text, and data in Mexico and Canada. Like AT&T's other prepaid plans, it also includes unlimited talk and text in the U.S. Also of note is that AT&T is making its $65 unlimited plan cheaper for those that enroll in autopay. Previously this plan would cost $60 per month with autopay, but now it'll cost $55 per month with autopay. This plan includes unlimited high-speed data but no mobile hotspot or HD video streaming. Once again, the year is drawing to a close. Of course, we also looking back over a year of reporting right here in the office, but what has inspired us the most in the past twelve months? If you are in the US, and are looking to purchase a dual SIM variant of Samsung's Galaxy S9 smartphone, here's a deal for you: a Top Rated Plus eBay seller is offering the device for $660. Keep in mind the variant on offer is global one, meaning it comes with the Exynos chipset (US models, in case you aren't aware, are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC). List of color options include black, gray, purple, and blue, but currently only the black model is available (all other are out of stock).
