Honor has launched its "crazy fast, crazy smart" gaming phone the Honor Play for the global market, and it just so happens to be crazy cheap to boot. In a presentation at IFA 2018 in Berlin, the Huawei sub-brand confirmed that the Honor Play will be priced at 329 euros across Europe and 279 in the U.K.

As well as pricing, Honor also confirmed that the phone will come in Midnight Black, Navy Blue, and Ultra Violet colorways. Top 5 Honor Play features

Not content with letting Razer, Asus, and Xiaomi hog all the fun, Honor is joining the burgeoning gaming phone party with a brand new handset, the Honor Play. Check out our Honor Play review for our …

The Honor Play first launched in China back in June and India earlier this month for 19,999 rupees (~$291), but gaming phone fans have had to wait until now to hear how much the phone would cost internationally.

The handset comes in either 4GB or 6GB RAM configurations, although availability will differ by region. You can check out our Honor Play specs post for a full rundown of the phone's internals, but I'll run through a few of the key features and specs here for as a quick refresher.

The Honor Play is powered by Huawei's NPU-toting Kirin 970 chipset 64GB of expandable storage, and a 3,750mAh battery. It features a notched 6.3-inch, 2,340 x 1,080 LCD screen, a 16MP and 2MP dual-lens rear camera and a 16MP selfie snapper.

On the gaming front, the Honor Play supports GPU Turbo technology, which the Chinese brand promises will offer a smoother gaming experience with higher frame rates and longer battery life. It also features "AI 4D Smart Shock" which makes the phone vibrate in unique ways to reflect the action in-game.

Obviously, the biggest draw of the Honor Play is the price.

The only big name game that utilizes GPU Turbo and 4D Smart Shock is currently PUBG Mobile, but more games are likely to follow in the future.

Obviously, the biggest draw of the Honor Play is the price. While it doesn't quite match up to the best gaming phones out there on paper, the mid-range price tag should attract gamers on a tight budget.
