Motorola P30 now official with dual rear cameras and 6.2-inch display

That didn't take long at all. Just a day after the Motorola P30 leaked in a few images, the handset has been made officially official.

The Motorola P30 has been unveiled for the Chinese market, and it appears to be a pretty solid mid-range handset. The P30 features a 6.2-inch display with a resolution of 2246×1080, with a notch on the top and a chin on the bottom that's just big enough to fit the full Motorola logo.

Under the hood, the P30 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor paired with 6GB of RAM. There are two variants, one with 64GB of storage and the other with 128GB of storage, and both models support microSD cards for expandable storage up to 256GB. On the back there are 16MP and 5MP cameras that support 1080p HD video capture. Around front there is a 12MP camera.

The P30 has a USB-C port for charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Motorola says the P30 also supports Dolby sound, there is a fingerprint reader on the back, and it also offers face unlock as well. The battery measures in at 3000mAh, and it's running Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. It's available in three colors: Aurora, Ice Jade White, and Shiny Black.

So there's the Motorola P30. It definitely has a familiar design, but that may work to its benefit. What do you think?
