Samsung Announces Rose Pink Edition of the Galaxy S8+

Samsung Electronics has officially released its sixth color edition of the Galaxy S8+ 64GB model: Rose Pink.

 

Starting June 30, the Rose Pink version of the smartphone will be available in select markets including South Korea and Taiwan.*

 

Inspired by nature, the new hue envelops the device, creating a sense of unity and fluidity between the glass and metal of the phone’s body. The Rose Pink color itself is simultaneously sophisticated and modern, adding to the overall aesthetics of the device, intensifying the depth of its design.

 

Featuring a sleek, bezel-less design that flows over the phone’s sides, the Galaxy S8+ incorporates cutting edge mobile technologies that enhance the user experience. Included among these features are its immersive Infinity Display, unified UX, Dual Pixel camera and Bixby intelligent interface.

 

In addition to the new hue, Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and S8+ are available in Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Coral Blue, Arctic Silver and Maple Gold.

Samsung Display remains the leader in global display market

The latest data from IHS Markit shows that Samsung Display has retained its dominant position as the top global smartphone display vendor in the first quarter of this year. It was able to do that as more smartphone manufacturers opted for OLED panels for their premium devices. Samsung picked up the bulk of those orders. Samsung's display affiliate is estimated to have shipped $3.4 billion worth of smartphone displays in the first quarter ending March 2019. It accounted for 40.2 percent of the smartphone display market in this period. Samsung Display also accounted for 80 percent of OLED panel supplies. Samsung Display retains its leadership It's pertinent to mention here that Samsung's Q1 market share is 6.6 percentage points lower than it was in the same period last year. T-Mobile starts rolling out Android 10 update to Galaxy Tab S6

Samsung started the rollout of Android 10 to its current-generation flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6 , three months ago. One month later, Verizon released the Android 10 update to the Galaxy Tab S6 on its network. Now, T-Mobile has released the Android 10 software update to the tablet on its network in the US . The new software update with firmware version  T867USQU2BTE1 brings Android 10 to the LTE variant of the Galaxy Tab S6 (SM-T867U). It also features One UI 2.1 and the May 2020 Android security patch . The file size of the update is over 2.1GB, so we would advise you to use a Wi-Fi connection to download the new software. Although T-Mobile's changelog doesn't mention new features, the Android 10 update brings smoother animations and transitions, Google's gesture-based UI navigation, improved Dark Mode, tweaked color scheme and icons, and more.
