Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy J7 (2016), and Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2015) could get Android 7.0 updates soon

After releasing the Android 7.0 update for its high-end smartphones and tablets, Samsung has been working on releasing the update to its mid-range devices. The company recently received Wi-Fi certifications for the Galaxy J7 (2016), Galaxy A3 (2017), and the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2015) running Nougat.

The Galaxy J7 (2016) was released last year with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, while the Galaxy A3 (2017) was launched earlier this year with Android 6.0.1. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 was released in 2015 with Android 5.0 Lollipop. Now, it looks like all these devices will soon get the Nougat update. Don’t expect all these devices to get all the new software features from high-end devices.

Samsung has been improving a lot when it comes to Android and security updates. We recently reported that the two-year old Galaxy S5 Neo could soon get the Nougat update as well.
