Samsung is now offering its own Buy One, Get One Free deal on the Galaxy S8

T-Mobile recently launched its Buy One, Get One Free offer for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. However, some people tend to shy away from such carrier offers as they don’t want to switch lines or don’t want to wait for a long time for the monthly credits to actually waive the cost of the second device.

They are going to love Samsung’s new offer. The company is offering a Buy One, Get One Free deal on its new flagship smartphones and will straight up return the cost of the second device to the customer. They don’t have to jump through any hoops or wait for a long time.

All customers have to do is purchase two new Galaxy S8 units from Samsung.com and activate a new line on T-Mobile. The activation can also be done on an existing T-Mobile line. Once that’s done, Samsung will issue customers a rebate of up to $750 to the original method of purchase just 7-10 days after activation.

That’s not all. Samsung will even throw in an “Entertainment Kit” for the Galaxy S8 which includes a 64GB microSD card, a Clear View stand as well as a free six-month subscription to Netflix.

This offer is only valid for a limited time only so interested customers in the United States should hurry up and take advantage of it.

Sony Announces Smaller Digital Paper E-Ink Writing Tablet

Sony has now announced a smaller follow-up to last year's Digital Paper E-ink writing tablet, the DPT-RP1. That's according to a new announcement made today via Sony's official blog. The new tablet – also dubbed with Digital Paper branding but sold under the model number DPT-CP1 – seems to be the same basic design as the previous model. However, while that earlier device was sized as close as possible to A4 paper with a 13.3-inch display, the new model drops to A5 with a 10.3-inch display. That should make its use much easier under a wider number of circumstances since it will arguably be easier to hold in one hand while writing with the other.  However, there will certainly be other benefits as well. Samsung to build a P3 ‘total semiconductor factory’ in Pyeongtaek by 2021

It hasn't been long since Samsung completed the construction of its P2 semiconductor plant in Pyeongtaek, but now, the company is preparing to build its 3rd 'P3' semiconductor factory in the same city in the Gyeonggi Province. According to reports from the local media , Samsung wants to start constructing the P3 plant in September and make it fully operational by the end of 2021. The P3 plant will reportedly be 300 meters longer than the existing P2 plant, topping a total of 700 meters in length. Constructing the building itself should take roughly a year, and a few additional months will be needed to install the necessary equipment and ready it for mass production. Motorola 's Pronto Suite of applications is going to be used by the States of Jersey Police, proposed as a forward-moving effort to transition from using methods for simpler tasks that could be completed more efficiently in the field by using digital resources instead of using paper. Examples of tasks that could be completed with some of the apps in the Pronto Suite are things like taking down statements or handing out penalty notices. The idea behind getting on board with the Pronto Suite is to save time for officers in the field and help streamline things. The suite will include things like the Pronto OTA server for storage management, the Pronto Hub Server, and the Pronto Web Manager to view captured data.
