Samsung Launches Samsung Newsroom Russia

Samsung Electronics today launched Samsung Newsroom Russia, the new Russian-language news and information hub that will provide contents targeting local media and consumers. It is an official Samsung Russian-language information portal with a convenient search tool.

 

Samsung Newsroom Russia seeks to keep media and consumers up-to-date with the latest company news and cover other interesting topics including the company’s latest activities in the country, complemented by video and photo content as well.

 

The launching of Samsung Newsroom Russia marks Samsung’s eighth newsroom, adding to the Global, United States, Korea, Vietnam, Brazil, India and Germany editions. Samsung Electronics plans to continue rolling out additional local newsrooms this year to share its latest news with more regions in their own language.

 

Samsung Electronics has been operating in Russia for over 25 years. The company was honored to be named ‘favorite brand of Russians’ by Online Market Intelligence from 2011~2016. Additionally, Samsung actively participates in the social and cultural life of the country through its strong corporate social responsibility programs, providing support for education, sports and the arts.

Google Pixel 3 Teardown: Adhesive secures battery, different OLED panel

The Google Pixel 3 XL Teardown by iFixit we featured yesterday revealed the bigger variant offers a whole lot of glue and is a bit challenging to disassemble and repair. We were surprised by the AMOLED screen as it was made by Samsung–one of its biggest rivals. The smartphone isn't exactly our top choice right now but the premium flagship has potential. It has a smaller variant, the standard Pixel 3, that comes without a notch and obviously wide forehead and chin. The Pixel 3 teardown shouldn't be any different from the Google Pixel 3 XL teardown but iFixit was curious if the display is the same.
