Honor Magic 2 has six cameras and a slide-up design, available November 6

There's also a new Honor Watch coming out in January.

During IFA this past August, Honor gave us a sneak peek at its Honor Magic 2 flagship smartphone. At an event held in Beijing today, the Magic 2 was fully unveiled alongside a new smartwatch that's debuting next year.

Similar to the Oppo Find X, the Honor Magic 2 has a slide-up design in which the front-facing cameras and other sensors pop out above the 6.39-inch AMOLED display when you want to use them. This allows the Magic 2 to have "an almost 100% screen-to-body ratio" with no notch in sight, and the result is really quite beautiful.

Powering the Magic 2 is Huawei's Kirin 980 processor that provides snappy day-to-day performance and "high-performance AI-computation processing power." Just like the original Honor Magic, the presence of artificial intelligence is being heavily marketed with its successor. The Magic 2 ships with its own AI called YOYO that Honor describes as follows:

YOYO is an all-in-one smart-living enabler that continues to learn and progress over time. YOYO's capabilities surpass that of an ordinary virtual voice assistant, and can identify, learn, think and improve. YOYO further redefines human-AI interaction to deliver an unparalleled and, scenario-based user experience that makes Honor Magic2 the smartest AI phone available on the market.

The cameras are also a big deal with the Magic 2. Around back you'll find a 16MP + 24MP + 16MP combo while the front is home to a 16MP + 2MP + 2MP setup. Also included with the Honor Magic 2 is 40W fast-charging, in-display fingerprint sensor, and the world's first dual-SIM + dual VoLTE configuration.

Also announced is a new smartwatch called the Honor Watch. This is Honor's first flagship smartwatch, and it's outfitted with a 1.2-inch circular AMOLED display, up to 7 days of battery life, and two physical buttons on its side.

Although the Honor Watch won't be available until January 2019, the Honor Magic 2 is available for pre-order now and will officially go on sale November 6.
