There are a few different options for internet-connected door locks, like the Nest x Yale and Schlage Sense. The August Smart Lock is one of the most well-known products in this category, with support for Google Assistant, Alexa, IFTTT, and other services. For today only, you can get it from Amazon for $157.50, a discount of $72.49 from the original price.

The August Smart Lock Pro can unlock automatically when you arrive and lock again when you leave, by detecting when your phone is nearby. It can also be controlled manually using the smartphone app, or using a plethora of other services — including Google Assistant, Alexa, Apple HomeKit, iFTTT, Nest, and SmartThings.

Keep in mind that the Smart Lock Pro requires a hub for connecting to the internet. You can buy the lock bundled with the official bridge for $164.50, or you can connect the lock to any Z-Wave hub (like Samsung SmartThings).

Samsung Display remains the leader in global display market

The latest data from IHS Markit shows that Samsung Display has retained its dominant position as the top global smartphone display vendor in the first quarter of this year. It was able to do that as more smartphone manufacturers opted for OLED panels for their premium devices. Samsung picked up the bulk of those orders. Samsung's display affiliate is estimated to have shipped $3.4 billion worth of smartphone displays in the first quarter ending March 2019. It accounted for 40.2 percent of the smartphone display market in this period. Samsung Display also accounted for 80 percent of OLED panel supplies. Some OnePlus 6Ts have an issue with waves of static on the display

Based on a handful of reports on the OnePlus product forums, some 6T owners have run into a problem with their phone's display in which a pixelated sort of "wave" or pulse of bright colors travels up or down the screen. A reliable trigger can't seem to be found, but for those that are affected, it appears to happen more often on the lock screen while using either OnePlus' face recognition or the in-display fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone. The issue — which our Cody Toombs aptly described as "like something changed in the Matrix" — is demonstrated in the video below: VIDEO Based on reports, a factory reset can't fix the problem, and it doesn't appear to be tied to any specific SKU.
