Nokia 3.1 rolls out in India on July 21

The Nokia 3.1 was announced back in May and it's now gradually being rolled out across the globe. Today it's India's turn to open pre-orders and HMD Global is offering some incentives to boost the phone's early sales and make it more competitive.

The available colors are Blue/Copper, Black/Chrome and White/Iron with a starting price of INR 10,499 ($152). Actual units will be available for purchase through offline stores or Nokia's official and Paytm online stores from July 21.

The Nokia 3.1 offers 5.2-inch HD+ display with trendy 18:9 resolution, MediaTek MT6750N SoC with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. The main camera is 13MP with f/2.0 aperture while the selfie one is 8MP with f/2.0 aperture and 84.6-degree wide-angle lens.

The phone runs stock Android 8.0 out of the box and sports a 2,990 mAh battery. You can check out our hands-on to know more about it.

Android has changed tremendously in the last ten years. Returning to modern hardware after our historical series , I was struck by the visual differences across versions. Samsung Galaxy J6 and J4 officially announced

Samsung just added two smartphones to its J lineup. The Galaxy J4 and J6 come with AMOLED screens, a focus on selfie cameras and affordable price tags. The Samsung Galaxy J6 is the first member of the series to pack an Infinity Display - a 5.6-inch 18.5:9 AMOLED unit. Its resolution is just HD+ (720x1440), but the slim side bezels are present. Under the hood is Samsung's own Exynos 7870 chipset with octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU running at 1.6GHz, Mali-T830 MP1 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The 32GB of internal storage can be expanded via the microSD card slot. On the back, you will find a single 13MP camera with f/1.9 lens and no OIS. The front-facing camera does 8MP stills, and also comes with f/1.9 aperture and an LED flash with three different levels of brightness. Something the selfie fans will surely appreciate. LG G7 ThinQ to Have Boombox-Like Sound, Feature DTS:X Immersive Audio

In typical LG fashion, we're learning more about the upcoming G7 ThinQ via official channels, even though we're 2 days away from an unveiling in NYC. This is fine with us, so long as we get a better understanding of what to expect later this week. Yesterday, LG detailed all of the different audio aspects of the device. For those who cry for dual stereo speakers, that doesn't appear to be the case on the G7 ThinQ. Instead, LG is utilizing a single speaker, but incorporating a design that's essentially an echo chamber. In LG's writeup, they call it a " Boombox speaker ," but what's actually happening is a bit more interesting.
