Here is a list of every device compatible with Lineage OS

If you are one of the many Android users that are in the ROM community, then you have likely heard of Lineage OS. Starting out as CyanogenMod, Lineage OS came into being after Cyanogen Inc. attempted to commercialize CyanogenMod and miserably failed in its efforts to do so.

From that viewpoint, Lineage OS is simply CyanogenMod with a different name. Regardless, Lineage OS is an open-source operating system based on Android that features its own open-source community. From that community, we have seen a slew of development builds that cover almost 200 phone models.

There are a few things to keep in mind, the first being that not every device uses the same root method. You might even need to track down bootloader unlock codes for certain devices, so make sure to do your homework beforehand.

You will also notice that not every device supports the same Lineage OS version, even if the devices come from the same manufacturer. Some devices support Lineage OS 14.1 (based on Android 7.1 Nougat), which still gets updates but include no feature advancements.

Other devices support Lineage OS 15.1 (based on Android 8.1 Oreo), which is the latest version of Lineage OS and still gets feature advancements.

Also, just because your device might not be on the list does not mean that will remain the case. As long as enough people make enough noise, there are bound to be developers that will listen and help make a Lineage OS ROM for that device.

Lastly, remember that the custom development community is a vast one. Odds are that there are unofficial versions of Lineage OS and other custom ROMs floating around for your device, but it does not hurt to look around to make sure.

With that said, here is the list of every device compatible with Lineage OS. We will continually update this list as more devices get added and get updated to the latest version of Lineage OS.
