The latest Samsung Internet Beta brings improved download management

Samsung's own official browser, simply called "Internet" on Galaxy phones, is receiving some new features. Most OEM browsers are not worth caring about, but Samsung Internet is actually really good. They even have a beta version so you can get new features right away. The latest update (version 6.4) includes a new download manager.

Before you download any file, you will be asked if you'd like to rename it. Once the download is complete, you'll see a message at the bottom of the screen. Large downloads can be paused at any time in case you want to leave WiFi. Samsung also updated the design of the Download History page, which is something a lot of phone browsers don't have.

Samsung Internet Browser is available for all Android devices. You can grab the beta version right here. It's worth a try if you're looking for something new.
