The Ring Alarm 14-piece Home Security System is down to $329 on Amazon. That's almost $100 off what it normally goes for, and this is a full system with all the pieces it comes with. Today's deal is the first time we've seen it go this low.

You can still get the 8-piece system on sale for $188.98 right now. That's been the price since before Black Friday, although it has gone out of stock a couple times.

The 14-piece system comes with the Ring base station, eight contact sensors, two motion detectors, two keypads, and a range extender. You can have the system set up in minutes without the need for professional installation and get 24/7 monitoring of your home. I mean, the 14-piece setup is already a lot to work with, but if you ever need more you'll be able to expand it pretty easily, which is one of the benefits of the Ring system.

Some OnePlus 6Ts have an issue with waves of static on the display

Based on a handful of reports on the OnePlus product forums, some 6T owners have run into a problem with their phone's display in which a pixelated sort of "wave" or pulse of bright colors travels up or down the screen. A reliable trigger can't seem to be found, but for those that are affected, it appears to happen more often on the lock screen while using either OnePlus' face recognition or the in-display fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone. The issue — which our Cody Toombs aptly described as "like something changed in the Matrix" — is demonstrated in the video below: VIDEO Based on reports, a factory reset can't fix the problem, and it doesn't appear to be tied to any specific SKU. Samsung Display remains the leader in global display market

The latest data from IHS Markit shows that Samsung Display has retained its dominant position as the top global smartphone display vendor in the first quarter of this year. It was able to do that as more smartphone manufacturers opted for OLED panels for their premium devices. Samsung picked up the bulk of those orders. Samsung's display affiliate is estimated to have shipped $3.4 billion worth of smartphone displays in the first quarter ending March 2019. It accounted for 40.2 percent of the smartphone display market in this period. Samsung Display also accounted for 80 percent of OLED panel supplies. Samsung Display retains its leadership It's pertinent to mention here that Samsung's Q1 market share is 6.6 percentage points lower than it was in the same period last year.
