Foxtel powered Kayo Sport streaming service launches with dedicated mobile apps

For sports loving Australians, a sport streaming service is the holy grail and that appears to be what Kayo Sport from Foxtel appears to be, and it's now live with dedicated mobile apps in tow.

The service is Foxtel's latest attempt to get content before your eyes, though as with services like Foxtel Now, the Kayo Sport service does away with the requirement for a satellite or cable box and just streams it to your mobile device or web browser.

Backed by Foxtel Sport you'll find over 50 sports ranging from your entire summer of cricket consisting of the Big Bash, Twenty20, One-Day Internationals, Tests and of course the Sheffield Shield, through to Baseball, Squash, Tennis, Basketball, MMA, NFL and loads more, all available to stream in HD quality at your convenience.

The apps and browser playback offer many options including replays, and a new Spoiler mode which gives you the option to login to the website or app, and then get to your game without seeing any scores, results and keeping you spoiler free.

You can experience Kayo Sport through a 14 day free trial with up to three simultaneous streams, but then you'll pay either $25 per month for Basic (2 streams), or $35 per month (3 streams).

Kayo Sport is available on to stream in Chrome, Safari and Firefox browsers on Mac and PC desktops and laptops, or through mobile apps for Android and iOS. Chromecast is available from browsers and from the mobile apps, though feedback in Google Play shows there are some kinks to work out on the Android app at least. There's also a Telstra TV app coming as well if that's your jam, but no mention of Android TV.

2018 Samsung QLED TVs will be revealed on March 7

At CES 2018 , Samsung showcased its vision for TVs and other home appliances in the IoT era. Though the company showcased  'The Wall,' its first 146-inch modular MicroLED TV , and an 8K QLED TV at the event, it didn't launch any of the mainstream QLED TVs for 2018 at the event. The more mainstream SmartTVs were expected to launch at a later date. 2018 Samsung QLED TVs will feature Bixby Earlier this month, a report from Korea stated that Samsung is going to launch a new Bixby-powered TV in New York in March.
