Google reveals its Black Friday deals for UK: Here’s what to expect

Google's products feature prominently in many Black Friday deals already, and now the company's U.K. store is jumping on the bandwagon as well.

The search giant has announced several discounts on its Google Home family, the Pixel series, and the Pixelbook. So what will you be paying to get your hands on Google goodness?

The Google Home Mini is available for 29 pounds (20 pounds off), the standard Google Home is 79 pounds (50 pounds off), the Google Home Hub is 99 pounds (40 pounds off), and the Google Home Max is 349 pounds (50 pounds off).

If you've had your fill of Google Homes, then you can also grab the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2XL for 200 pounds cheaper across the board, now 429 pounds and 599 pounds respectively. The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL also see a 40-pound price drop, down to 699 pounds and 829 pounds, in case you want something a little more current.

Finally, the Pixelbook is 300 pounds cheaper, which means they now start at 699 pounds. So if you like the idea of a premium Chromebook with Linux and Android app support, this might be for you.

Most of the deals will begin today and run until November 26, while the Google Home Hub and Home Max deals start November 22, and the Pixelbook offer is already live. In addition to the Google Store, these deals are available via Argos, Currys PC World, and John Lewis.

Android has changed tremendously in the last ten years. Returning to modern hardware after our historical series , I was struck by the visual differences across versions. LG G7 ThinQ to Have Boombox-Like Sound, Feature DTS:X Immersive Audio

In typical LG fashion, we're learning more about the upcoming G7 ThinQ via official channels, even though we're 2 days away from an unveiling in NYC. This is fine with us, so long as we get a better understanding of what to expect later this week. Yesterday, LG detailed all of the different audio aspects of the device. For those who cry for dual stereo speakers, that doesn't appear to be the case on the G7 ThinQ. Instead, LG is utilizing a single speaker, but incorporating a design that's essentially an echo chamber. In LG's writeup, they call it a " Boombox speaker ," but what's actually happening is a bit more interesting.
