How to message businesses in Google Maps

  1. Open Google Maps.
  2. Find the business you want to message.

  3. Tap the Message icon.

  4. Type your message.

  5. Swipe the card away when you're done.

That's all there is to it! If you don't see the Message option next to any of your local businesses, be sure to give it some time. Google announced this feature on November 14, so it'll take a while for companies to actually adopt and start using it.

AT&T rolls out improved prepaid plans

AT&T today rolled out some changes to its prepaid plans , and they're all for the better. First up, AT&T has ditched its 6GB plan and replaced it with an 8GB plan. The regular price of the 8GB plan is a bit more than the 6GB plan — $50 vs $45 — but if you enroll in autopay, the 8GB plan will cost you the same $40 per month as the 6GB plan. This plan includes 8GB of high-speed data, unlimited talk and text to Mexico and Canada, and the ability to use your talk, text, and data in Mexico and Canada. Like AT&T's other prepaid plans, it also includes unlimited talk and text in the U.S. Also of note is that AT&T is making its $65 unlimited plan cheaper for those that enroll in autopay. Previously this plan would cost $60 per month with autopay, but now it'll cost $55 per month with autopay. This plan includes unlimited high-speed data but no mobile hotspot or HD video streaming. OnePlus is now seeking tech enthusiasts willing to review its upcoming Android flagship and is incentivizing people to apply by promising they'll get to keep their OnePlus 6 review units. The call for reviewers is being sent out as part of the latest iteration of The Lab, OnePlus's established initiative meant to gauge user sentiment on the company's new devices.
