The Sam's Club Black Friday ad reveals deals members won't want to miss

Black Friday is less than two weeks away, which means you should be sufficiently read up on the coming sales and offers if you're planning on shopping during the event. Most of the major retailers have already released their Black Friday ads, though there are still a few left to be seen.

One ad just now hitting the internet is for Sam's Club, likely held back due to the store's one-day early Black Friday sale this past weekend. Within the ad, you'll find deals on handy kitchen tools, home goods and decor, smart TVs, office essentials, fashion, toys, and more, all packed in 12 pages. There are some deals which will be exclusively available online, too.

Deals Worth Considering

iRobot Roomba e5 5134 Robot Vacuum: $249.88

At $100 off, this Roomba robot vacuum could change your daily cleanup routine forever. It's a model that's capable of cleaning for up to 90 minutes before needing a recharge, which it'll do on its own by returning to its base. It's ideal for homes with pets too, and you can control it or schedule its next cleaning using an app on your smartphone or tablet. It's even compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, meaning you could voice control it using a device like the Echo Dot.

Samsung 75-inch 4K UHD Smart TV + 1TB Xbox One S console: $1,279

In one fell swoop, you could have a new home entertainment setup at nearly $500 off its regular price. This deal takes $200 off the price of the TV and bundles in an Xbox One S console for free! The TV regularly sells for nearly $1,500 via Sam's Club, while the Xbox One S will be available starting at $200 this Black Friday. It's more often priced at $300. Plus members also receive 3X Cash Rewards with this purchase.

Shark Rotator Professional Vacuum XL NV95: $99.98

This upright vacuum has an extra-long reach, enhanced swivel steering, and a completely sealed system with a HEPA filter to trap both dust and allegens inside. During Black Friday, it'll be discounted by $50 which is a pretty crazy price for such a well-rated vacuum. It's not the most lightweight option at 18 pounds, though its swiveling mechanism allows you to manuever it easily.

Other Deals to keep an eye on

Member benefits

Many of Sam's Club's items are exclusive to the store, which can be both a good and a bad thing. You might find a great product at a fantastic price, like the Shark Navigator vacuum, but you can't compare its price to what other retailers are offering unless you compare a different model. In any case, it pays to be a Sam's Club member, because there's a much greater likelihood of items staying in stock for longer. You can bet the $200 Xbox One S and PlayStation 4 consoles will be hard to grab at many Walmart, Target, and Best Buy stores, but Sam's Club members should have an easier time retrieving what they want without worrying about a stampede of people ruining the opportunity. If you're not yet a member, Groupon has a few ways to change that at a discounted rate.

Another thing worth noting is that Plus members get free shipping on online orders, which is perfect if you plan on doing your Black Friday shopping from the comfort and safety of your own home. Plus members also receive bonus Cash Rewards during the event, like 3X Rewards on TV purchases above $996.

Deals Worth Ignoring

Not every Black Friday deal is worth your time, and many of the deals we're seeing this time around are matching sales we've seen throughout the year, or not even as good as prices we've seen before. Retailers want the consumer to have the impression that Black Friday is the ultimate opportunity to snag a good deal, and while that's generally true, there are plenty of offers which aren't as good as they seem at first. Dud products get promoted and placed on sale during events like these too.

  • Arlo Pro 2-Pack Wire-Free Home Security Camera Kit for $279
  • Propel Sky Force Battle Drones 2-Pack for $39.99
  • Lifetime Adjustable Portable Basketball Hoop for $199.99

Store information

Sam's Club's Black Friday sale begins in-store on Friday, November 23 at 7 A.M. when doors open, however, online deals begin over a day earlier on November 22 at 12:01 A.M. The brick-and-mortar store will be one of the few which is completely closed on Thanksgiving Day.
