Tidal App now available for the new Galaxy Watch and Samsung Wearables

The music streaming service Tidal is now available on many of Samsung's recent wearables, including the new Galaxy WatchGear Sport, Gear S2, Gear S3, Gear Fit 2 and Gear Fit 2 Pro. A free 3-month subscription to Tidal Premium is included, so if you're a Spotify fiend, you can give Tidal a thorough test drive before committing. Samsung's wearables are the first to get Tidal's dedicated app and it's not confirmed if we'll see it on Wear OS in the near future.

If you're unfamiliar with Tidal, it has a collection of over 59 million songs and "expertly curated" playlists (your mileage may vary). In addition to accessing their entire library from your wrist, you can also search for music and save it for offline listening. Workout playlists will be given an emphasis as many use their Samsung wearables as fitness companions.

It's good to see a wider variety of music apps coming to wearables (the Apple Watch will also get Tidal soon) and hopefully Wear OS will be added to the list.
