Rogers to start rolling out Nougat update for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge next month

Canadian carrier Rogers has announced that it will start distributing the long-awaited Nougat update for its variant of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge on Monday, May 1. This news comes more than two months after the upgrade started making the rounds for the factory unlocked model of the handsets.

In addition to a multitude of bug fixes, speed optimizations and stability improvements, the upgrade is expected to bundle all of the stock features baked into Android 7.0, including a drastically revamped user interface. For more details on what’s new, be sure to check out the video below.
