Samsung’s 2017 QLED TV receives highest rating ever from German tech magazine

Samsung is celebrating the fact that Video Magazin, Germany’s renowned consumer electronics magazine, has recently rated its 2017 QLED TV as the best on the market. The magazine particularly liked the QLED TV’s “less is more” lifestyle-centric features and found them to be innovative.

Samsung went back to the drawing board, so to speak, to come up with the 2017 QLED TV. It worked hard on optimizing the TV’s picture quality as well as on improving its form and components to simplify use.

After a series of comprehensive lab tests, the magazine awarded Samsung’s 65-inch Q9F a rating of 920 on a 1,005-point scale which is the highest score it has ever granted. The QLED TV received this rating for its advanced specifications, smart features and great design.

This is also the first product reviewed by Video Magazin that has received high marks in all three evaluation categories. Aside from Innovation, the 2017 QLED TV also received a high score in the Reference category for its innovative cable solution, luminosity and signal processing. It scored high marks in the Highlight category as well for its deep blacks, brightness, wide viewing angles and the ability to achieve 100 percent color volume.
